Facebook Junkie

I really just don't get on here as much as I used to. I am going to have to agree with Jason, I am addicted to facebook. Me and like a million other ppl! I really just only get on here to check a couple other blogs. There are only on or two wortch checking anyomre! Finally saw something on here that I didn't really want to, so to avoid that, I am probably going to try and avoid blogger all together!

Long TIme, No Blog

WOW, I just realized the other day that I haven't blogged FOREVER!! Nor have I checked anyone else's! I guess I just kind of forgot about them! Things have been a little busy around here lately.
First of all, Vegas was AWESOME!! I had a great time, it was defititely as good as everyone said it would be. I don't think I need to go back any time soon though!
Other than that I have just been working. Except on Tuesday...
There is a bar here in Quincy that has an annual St. Patty's Day party and it is called 5:05. Yes, the bar opens at 5:05 am and it was packed! I had never heard of this and felt the need to see what it was all about! So I went before work and it was great. A little crazy to be drinking at 5 in the morning, but still fun :) I proceeded to go to work from 8-2, then continued to drink with some of my friends from 2-4, checking out 2 other Quincy bars that I had never been to. I then had to be back at work from 4-7. By 7 a bunch of my friends were at the bar and I felt the need to continue the celebration with them. By this time, my shirt wasn't the only thing that was green, my fingers were all dyed green from making green beer!
Unfortunately I continued to drink all nite. I can't say that this was one of my better judgement days, however, I had a great time. Thank god St. Patrick's Day is only once a year!

Off to Evill this weekend for Steph P and Pepper's birthdays!! Can't wait! :)

Weird

I watched Burn After Reading last nite, barely. It took everything I had to stay awake through the whole movie! It ended up being a very weird movie, but had some very funny parts, like Brad Pitt. But what else can you expect from the Coen bros?? Weird is what they do best.
I have 3 more to watch, not sure what I will choose tonite. Wanted, My Best Friend's Girl, or Lakeview Terrace. All of them look really good!

Oh and by the way, had a blast in Eville! The Jambalaya party was a success and everyone's food turned out great!

I am once again headed to Edwardsville for a long weekend of booze, shots, dancing and hopefully some beer pong!
I am already dreading Monday morning!
Sunday Funday should be a good one though, we are having all the Mardi Gras essentials. Jumbalaya, cornbread, and I tried my first attempt at a King's Cake. Hopefully it is good. And I am also going to make some cajun stuffed jalapenos. And I am definitely going to get all the fixins for Hurricanes!

I had a date last nite. With a guy that I met at the bar. We went bowling and I had so much fun! As most of you know, I am not the best bowler! :) But I didn't do too bad! I actually kicked his ass in 2 out of 5 games, he got me on the other ones though! I won the important one though. We bet on the last game and I won, so he has to come in the bar and hang out with me on Monday. :) We will see how this goes, good I hope!

2 Weeks!!

Yes, the countdown is on! Only two more weeks and Dana and I will be on a plan to Vegas!! :) I can't wait, I have already started packing..in my head. We are only going to be there for 3 nites but I know I am going to pack enough clothes for 7! Oh well, you have to have choices!!

My goal this week is to make it back to the Y. Last week was just sooo busy and I took advantage of any free time to nap. Plus I didn't want to run myself down too much and get sick again. Especially since I had just gotten over it. If I work out a couple times, at least, I will be happy with that. I gave up on the whole "1/2 marathon" thing a long time ago. My schedule is just way too crazy to try and train for something like that. I would definitely like to do something though, now that I have been working out. I think I will have to start with a 5K or something a little smaller though! :)

I made it

Wow! What a long weekend, and it's not over yet! Not only ws one of our bartenders out of town, so I already had to work both nites. But, the other one ended up getting sick! So my dad ended up having to work both nites with me. Which actually worked out to my advantage, b/c I don't have to split my tips with him! :) So I had a good weekend in tips! Vegas is going to be fun!

This has actually been the first chance in the past 3 days that I have gotten to sit down at my house and relax. But I'm really not even doing that, I'm cleaning. When you only get to stop at home for an hour or so at a time the dishes and clothes tend to pile up! B/c that time is usually used to catch a quick nap or some food!

I just realized that I only have an hour and a half before I have to be back at the bar to train my friend to work Sunday nites, and I still have 1/2 the house to clean! The nice thing is, Sunday nites are super easy, so I will be sitting on the other side of the bar this time having a much deserved beer!
